Please Join Us (Virtually!)A New Twist on Old Traditions - Restoring Our Historic Meetinghouse - 49th Annual Christmas Pageant Goes Virtual
|
The Sutton Historical Society is doing our best to continue traditions and follow through on plans in spite of the pandemic around us. We're having great success, thanks to your participation!
Annual Christmas Pageant As we did to keep the Sutton Old Home Day tradition alive during this challenging pandemic year, there is a video rendition of Sutton's traditional Annual Christmas Pageant for all to enjoy. We are very grateful that Susie Lowe-Stockwell spearheaded this project with the creative efforts of Peter Bloch of EarthAerial Productions and sister Kathy Lowe-Bloch. They had some surprises for us that include historic recordings from Christmas Pageants past. Watch the video that premiered on Sunday, December 20 at 5PM |

Our Thermometer is on the Rise! Your Donation Matters!
Sutton is blessed with a wealth of historical buildings and landmarks. Such links to earlier times are unusual throughout the towns of modern day New Hampshire.
Your contributions are essential to help restore our historic meetinghouse and maintain the numerous historical buildings owned and managed by the Sutton Historical Society. Funds raised will help complete a generous matching grant from the New Hampshire Land and Community Heritage Investment Program (LCHIP) to restore the aging South Sutton Meetinghouse.
Help us preserve the unique beauty and history that is Sutton.
